The Resilient Landscapes & Seas Symposium taking place at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh on 10-11 February 2026 is the first annual RLAS symposium, and it will bring together leading organisations and stakeholders interested in large-scale land, freshwater, coastal and marine transformation.

Registration will open in November 2025

The 2-day symposium will feature thematic sessions with keynote speakers, session talks and short talks, plus a poster session and other interactive formats. Themed sessions will include:

  • Setting the Scene

  • Working at Scale

  • Working in Partnership

  • Engaging and Involving Communities and Landowners

  • Funding for Landscape-Scale Projects

  • A Vision for the Future

Early-bird: Friday 5 December 2025

Final registration: Monday 12 January 2026
