Resilient Landscapes & Seas Symposium 2026: Collaborating at scale for nature and people

Join us at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh on 10-11 February 2026 for the annual RLAS Symposium which will bring together leading organisations and stakeholders interested in large-scale land, freshwater, coastal and marine transformation. The Symposium aims to help build a more cohesive community in landscape transformation, share knowledge and best practice, and to connect and provide mutual support to landscape-scale projects across the UK.

The 2-day programme will feature thematic sessions with keynote speakers, session talks and short talks, plus a poster session and other interactive formats. Themed sessions will include:

  • Setting the Scene

  • Working at Scale

  • Working in Partnership

  • Engaging and Involving Communities and Landowners

  • Funding for Landscape-Scale Projects

  • A Vision for the Future

The programme will be updated as speakers are confirmed and delegate registration will open 10 November 2025. Early-bird tickets will be available at £75 for both days until 5 December, after which standard tickets will be available at £95 for both days.
